Police Saddlebag Latches: Get rid of the “hockey puck”
knobs on your saddle bags and replace with these great looking and highly functional push button latches. These push buttons
are much more convenient and user friendly than the outdated knob latch. Kits come with chrome or black hole plugs or upgraded
to PL-45, PL-00 or PL-26.
PL-CH: This 100% all metal kit
includes a pair of premium latches made of chrome finished die-cast zinc. They are drop in replacements for the stock puck
hole sizing. This latch stays in the up position when not in use. They are not flush mount. It sticks up about 9/32"
from the base of the latch, and the base sticks up about 5/32" from the surface of the lid. Comes compete with all parts,
hardware and installation instructions. Top width ~1-1/16".
PL-CL:
Similar to above but allows barrel lock security, selectable for one side or both. The barrel
lock(s) are dual slot allowing the rider to leave the saddlebal(s) unlocked with the same "no key needed" access like
the PL-CH or allowing the rider to lock one or both saddlebags for added security.
GKY-CL: The PL-CL can also be
keyed to match your existing ignition key using this service. All you have to do is mail in one of your spare
ignition key (please use padded envelope or CD mailer and mail to eGlideGoodies ATTN: MATCH KEY) along with your name and
we'll match the key to your order and coordinate keying the locks appropriately. You will get your
spare ignition key (along with two keys from the kit) back with your order. We do not have access to H-D key codes for the GL-2 producct, so supplying the key code
will not work. The custom key process can take several weeks.
PL-CH-FL: This premium kit stays
in the flat or flush position when not in use. The kit includes a pair of latches w/gaskets that are slightly
concave with show chromed all metal top and plastic body. To operate, push the button and the knob
pops up and simply pull to open saddlebag. Shown with and without our optional bar and shield screws, our
part number PL-45. A clean streamlined look! These latches require some minor modification on your saddle bags to
make the hole larger. Comes compete with all parts, gaskets, hardware and installation instructions. Top width ~1-1/16".
PL-CH-PW: This standard kit is similar to PL-CH-FL but with a pair of
all plastic latches that are slightly convex and a little wider. Operation is depend on option selected:
push the button and the knob pops up and simply pull to open saddlebag or turn the knob to open saddlebag.
These latches require some minor modification on your saddle bags to make the hole larger. Comes compete with all parts, hardware
w/special lock washers and installation instructions. Top width ~1-1/2". When in the "up" position,
the sides of the latch are smooth for the "pull to open" option. The sides have ridges for the "turn
to open" option. Turn to Open latches are the default option. Special order item.
PL-KS-FL: Add additional security with this chrome flat-keyed
kit that stays in the flat or flush position. The kit includes a pair of latches w/two keys and are show
chromed all metal top and body. To operate, turn the key and pull to open the saddlebag. Shown
with and without our optional bar and shield screws, our part number PL-45. A clean streamlined look! They are drop
in replacements for the stock puck hole sizing. Comes compete with all parts, 2 keys, hardware and installation instructions.
Top width ~7/8". Special order item.
PL-KL-FL:
Same as above but larger diameter, top width ~1-1/8". Requires some minor modification on your saddle bags to make
the hole larger. Special order item.
PL-BK-PW:
Same as the PL-CH-PW but in black finish.
PL-BN: This
economical kit is like the PL-CH, the buttons stick up when not in use. Please note: These black nylon latches require
some minor modification on your saddle bags to make the hole larger. Comes with complete and easy to follow installation instructions,
parts and hardware. Top width !1-1/8".
PL-45: Upgrade your latch kit with a set of show chrome H-D Bar and Shield screws, set of four.
PL-46: Similar to above in option 2. See photo.
PL-00: Acorn hole plug upgrade kit. Set of four.
PL-01: Rocket style hole plug upgrade kit. Set of four.
PL-26: Skull hole plug upgrade kit. Set of four.
PL-74:

PL-PO:

Interface washer kit. Set of four large zinc plated large washers to allow retrofit of hole size from the larger diameter
plastic latch kit with the smaller PL-CH or PL-CL all metal latch kit. They will require painting or chroming depending
